QMS would like to congratulate Rainbow Print (Wales) Limited on their recent achievement of operation for a majestic 30 years! They have been operating with a QMS Quality Management System since 2001 and an Environmental Management System in more recent times.
Our Wales based QMS Assessor Barbara Johnson said “I have always been impressed by the positive attitude within the workforce and can recall the initial ISO Assessment back in 2001 with the former founding Managing Director Brian Roberts, who has since retired as he was a keen golfer and had also achieved an MBE for his work with charity.”
Since inception, the Organisation’s success has always been based on a simple management philosophy that you have to invest in better machinery and develop staff to enable growth which is now proven through their track record.
“I have always set aside time to hold a refreshing talk with the management team there to acknowledge their previous year achievements, to see the new equipment in operation demonstrated with enthusiasm and to discuss their forthcoming goals. It is also a pleasure to work with their Quality Manager Lisa Durbin and through our roles, we both monitor the overall compliance against their ISO Management Systems that bring continuity through the application of the stated procedures” said Barbara.
During 2003 a management buy-out was undertaken by Rainbow Print (Wales), showing a core principle that is still applied over a decade later. We hope the Organisation’s success story will continue and it is evident from recent celebratory reflection that they are proud of their overall growth from their humble historic roots.
