The pandemic certainly made the last year a challenging one, but despite it all, QMS International has proved its strength with a fantastic rating of 1* in the annual Best Companies Survey, indicating ‘very good’ levels of staff engagement.
Finding the best
Best Companies perform employee surveys on behalf of organisations across the UK to help them gain a better understanding of their employees’ experiences, which can help to improve their performance going forward.
Surveys are distributed among employees and answers are collated and anonymised to ensure that honest feedback is given. Companies are then scored on a fixed scale of zero to 1,000, known as the BCI score.
As a result of the surveys, which were completed by 88% of our employees, QMS International scored an excellent mark of 681.4, up from their previous score of 644.2.
This earns QMS a 1* rating, which signifies ‘very good’ engagement among its staff. This also places QMS among the top 75 companies in the East of England, as well as the top 30 for Consultancy Companies, a fantastic achievement.
In particular, the scores for Fair Deal and My Company improved significantly, jumping up by 9% each. This helped QMS to move up from being ‘One to Watch’, a rating it has held for the previous three years.
Going from strength to strength
With more than 25 years in business and over 100 staff and 8,000 customers, QMS has gone from strength to strength in the last year, despite the spread of COVID-19.
The company has a 4.9/5 average rating on review site Feefo, which is populated by feedback from clients, and has led a strong recruitment drive to expand key departments within the company.
QMS has also focused on delivering a new suite of products over the last year, designing and developing QMS eLearning and a series of webinars, among other new ISO products.
“We’re incredibly proud to have achieved a 1* Best Companies accreditation and it is a testament to the hard work everyone puts in towards creating, improving and maintaining our great culture at QMS,” said Matt Stacey, MD of QMS. “We have achieved a significant increase in our BCI score and engagement levels, and this is evidence of how we put culture and engagement at the top of the agenda and at the heart of everything we do at QMS.”
As a ‘very good’ company, QMS International is certainly an attractive choice for new recruits. If you are interested in working with QMS, please visit the QMS careers page to view our latest opportunities.
