After Blue Planet and the war against single-use plastics, in early 2020 we published our in-depth report on SMEs’ attitudes toward sustainability and what they were doing to reduce their environmental impact.
But the world is now a very different place after the global pandemic. With disposable masks, increased deliveries and more remote working, the effects businesses have on the planet are likely to have changed dramatically.
For this reason, we set out to ask SMEs about their current attitudes towards the environment and sustainability. By doing so, we hope to discover if sustainability has been reprioritised and if developments such as remote working have changed their environmental impact.
As we’d also like to do our bit to support the environment, we offered a green incentive. For every completed survey, we donated £10 to the UK-based charity the Woodland Trust. This charity works to restore Britain’s natural woodland and replace trees that have been lost.
So far, this has meant that £580 has been raised for this great cause.
However, we’d like to raise even more!
Our survey remains open and takes just five minutes to complete. Entries are completely anonymous and will provide us with key information on businesses and sustainability as well as helping us to raise more money for the reforestation of Britain.
